Greetings, all!
Banner of the Bull is released to the general public today!
Banner of the Bull is a 1st level advdenture, set on the border of my land of Norrøngard, using Kobold Press' new 5e alternative system, Black Flag Roleplaying. It was commissioned to be included in Kobold Press' recent Tales of the Valiant Kickstarter as part of their Parnter Pack Add-On. That Add-On bundle was releasing to their Kickstarter backers on Halloween, and this morning my adventure was just been made available to the general pubic on DriveThruRPG.
Also available today is a companion offering, Banner of the Bull VTT Tokens. This is a token pack for all the NPCs and monsters that you need you need to run the adventure in any VTT platform.
The adventure also contains a coupon for the Heroic Maps - Norrøngard: Banner of the Bull Map Pack, a bundle containing multiple maps for seven locations from the adventure. Heroic Maps are hands down my favorite battle map cartographers in the TTRPG space, and I’m very honored to have worked with them for all the Thrones & Bones battle maps since the start of this whole endeavor.
(Banner of the Bull has a second coupon for the original 5e campaign setting, Thrones & Bones: Norrøngard, if you came in late and want to start at the beginning and get all the world lore!)
And if you didn’t pledge for it during the Kickstarter and want to get the entire bundle, featuring work from Is Friday Productions, Necromancer, Frog God Games, DMDave, Ghostfire Gaming, Steamforged Games, the Word Refinery, and my own Lazy Wolf Studios, you can get the Black Flag Roleplaying Adventure Pack now for 28% off it’s regular sale price! (You can see a “first impressions” review by Jared Rascher on What Do I know? right now.)
Finally, if that weren’t enough news: Two follow up adventures to Banner of the Bull, also set in Norrøngard and written for Black Flag Roleplaying, have been commissioned from two very talented adventure designers, are underway now, and will be released in 2024.
Here’s a look at the interior of Banner of the Bull, but don’t read the “adventure background” if you expect to be a player!
Take care everyone! More soon!
Congrats! Looks awesome!
