Hi all:
Tales from Stolki’s Hall is live on Kickstarter!
Please check it out right now and help us have the best launch we can!
Or if you don’t know what Tales from Stolki’s Hall is, stick around I’ll tell you a little bit about the project.
Tales from Stolki’s Hall is a short story anthology of ten adult fantasy stories set in the Scandinavian-inspired land of Norrøngard. Norrøngard first appeared in my novel Frostborn (book one of the Thrones & Bones trilogy), back in 2014. In 2021, this northern country was explored and developed further in a series of 5e-compatible roleplaying games books and adventures from my company, Lazy Wolf Studios. Already there are three hardcover books, a softcover book, player aids, a soundtrack, and scores of digital map packs and 3D printable terrain packs.
And today, the land of Norrøngard extends into a whole new territory with the release of a short story anthology of adult fiction. Tales from Stolki’s Hall is aimed at fans of my books, fans of the roleplaying games, and fans of good fantasy short fiction in general. And for the fans of the games, in addition to the ebook and trade hardcover versions, they’ll be a “Deluxe Gamer Edition.” This version will be sized like the RPG manuals, in full color with illustrations, with an appendix of 5e mechanics (new monsters, magic items, spells, etc…). It also features a new mechanic designed by Andrew Mills of Milestone Heroes for Fabled Weapons that grow in power alongside their wielder, developing new abilities based on how they are used.
Here is the table of contents listing the stories and contributors for Tales from Stolki’s Hall:
Daughter of the Draugr - Joel Shepherd

As they say in Norrøngard, “Be healthy!”*
